New Product

I have been working on this post for awhile!  It's funny to think about how last year, I had no clue about anything.  I had no guidance and I was learning everything myself one day at a time, and it was completely overwhelming.  To be honest, it still is.  But now I have an amazing mentor and some awesome photography friends, and it's made all the difference.  I've started making albums and cards and different photo things, and I wanted to share some samples I put together, especially of the save-the-dates I've been using, which I love because they all have a corresponding thank you card!  So let's start there, shall we?  I used all couples/ families I've shot in the past year to sample these cards, hope they like what they see! :)  Some of it may be hard to tell where the outline ends because I can't change the color of the text background to anything but white, but we'll give it a go anyways! The save-the-dates/ matching thank yous are my new favorite thing, and they're something I'm adding to my price list as an ala carte item.  Here are a couple of samples... the first one's thank you is supposed to list funny facts about the wedding.  Since I didn't want to bug the bride and groom for some fun facts, I instead used one of Kat's answers about Ray from her wedding guestbook...hopefully Ray doesn't mind :)

Chris and Johnny...

Tonja and Justin...

Jenn and Dave...

Here are some samples that also have a matching thank you, but these weddings haven't happened yet, so these are just the save-the-dates!

Renee and Andrew...

Julie and Dan...

There's also a couple of beach themed save the dates (with matching thank you), which I love since the beach is becoming so popular for weddings!  Here is one of those...

Okay, so if you've already gotten married, and moved onto that next step... *GASP*... children... I also have a ton of new birth announcements!  Here are a few...

I'm not going to show you the backs of all these cards- most are pretty awesome and a lot allow for another picture or two on the back as well as text, but since the next one has no text on the front I will show you both sides!

I've also been working on... what else?... holiday cards!  Here are some samples of those...

Another one with no text on the front, so I'll show you the back too...

I love the more modern ones... the next few are my absolute favorite... including the one of me modeling haha.  Thanks Molly for the picture, this might just end up being my Xmas card!

And last but not least... ALBUMS.  I have been working on albums a lot lately, trying to build my sample collection and all that good stuff.  I have a few different templates for albums now, which is good because I'm finding not everyone has the same boring taste that I do :)  I like simple things, and so Chris and Johnny's sample album has been my favorite to work with so far... it's very clean and simple... these are a few of the spreads from that album...

Now picture that album, but adding a splash of color on a few pages.  Not every one, but scattered throughout the book.  That's what the Contemporary album does...

And for those people who like words, there's the Love Story album...

Melissa Deschamp took all these pictures of the guys while I was with the girls... thanks Melissa!

I've also been working on a couple of reception albums.  Here is a sample of one of them- thanks to Molly and Eric for modeling :)

As you can see, I've been super busy, and I loooooove all the new stuff I've been making and I can now show brides and grooms!  If anyone is interested in any of the products I've listed or has album/ design questions, let me know!  I'm looking forward to continuing my album knowledge and learning to make new stuff to show you guys as the new year approaches.  For now, I'm off to watch I'm Still Here... a documentary about my favorite actor in the whole wide world?  Sounds like a perfect Monday night to me :)
